5月30日上午，受我校外事处、化工与制药学院邀请，澳大利亚迪肯大学林同教授在绿色化工过程教育部重点实验室会议室作了以“Flexible Non-wetting Surfaces and their Applications”为题的学术报告。报告会由重点实验室主任丁一刚教授主持，有关人才计划喻发全、刘善堂、陈嵘教授和相关师生到会聆听了学术报告。
林教授首先介绍了澳大利亚迪肯大学的基本情况及相关的一些研究领域，随后重点介绍了他所开展的疏水纤维及应用方面的研究工作，并就超疏水纳米纤维应用于环境治理与在座师生展开了讨论。
报告会后，到会师生积极提问，气氛十分活跃。林教授严谨的治学态度及科学的研究方法让到会师生深受启发。
林同教授简介
Dr. Tong Lin is an Associate Professor in Fibrous Materials at Deakin University. His main research interest is in electrospinning, electrospun nanofibres and smart textiles and materials. He has published more than 100 refereed articles in high impact-factor journals and won many research grants from National Competitive Funding sources. Prof Lin is also an excellent chemist who has been awarded a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC, UK).
